Privacy policy

1. Controller

2. In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and embeds no third-party content. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google. That is why there is no cookie banner.

3. Hosting and server log files

The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When a page is opened, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the page visited before. This data is used to deliver the website, keep it stable and protect it from attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, working website. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision.

4. Contact form

When you write to us through the form on "Book a call", we process your name, your email address, optionally your company, the topics you chose and your message. We use this only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering enquiries).

We do not store the form. It is delivered as an email to hi@vissor.de, sent through the Postmark service (ActiveCampaign, LLC, Chicago, USA). ActiveCampaign is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. To prevent spam, the form checks a hidden field and the time taken to submit; no additional data is stored for this.

We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods require otherwise.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us directly by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request, on the same legal basis as in section 4. Our mailboxes are operated by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus, EU).

6. Links to other websites

This website links to the websites of our projects and to LinkedIn. These are plain links; data is only sent to the provider once you click a link. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing.

7. Encryption

This website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise it by the lock icon and "https://" in the address bar.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to us at privacy@vissor.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

9. Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the website or the law changes. The version published here applies.
